Released in August 2001, this song is the 3rd single for Zone, a girls band from Hokkaido. They broke up as a band in 2005, but as promised in this song, they were reunited after 10 years. In August of 2011, they restarted the band and held a revival concert.
The lyric of this song is based on a friendship of two boys. “僕 boku" is a Japanese word which means "I" for boys. One day a shy boy met another boy and they became best friends. They made a secret base and enjoyed their adventures during summer. But at the end of summer, the other boy were transferred to a new school and they had to part without choice. To remember their best summer, they made a promise to meet again 10 years later.
In the lyrics, there is one phrase that made me confused:
"太陽と月 仲よくして (Taiyo to tsuki nakayokushite)"
One possible answer is this: Sun rises after Moon is gone and Moon comes out after Sun is set. That means they are on bad terms. If they get on well with each other, the time will stop so that two boys can be together forever...
