いきものがかり Ikimono gakari
Released in May 2010 as their 18th single, this song became one of the most well-known songs for this trio thanks to the NHK drama, "ゲゲゲの女房 Ge-ge-ge no nyoubou". As in the drama, the lyrics tells you about the couple who has been struggling their way to success, but they stood together in hard times until they achieved their goal. Without a word, they came to understand each other.
The drama is based on a true story about a manga artist, 水木しげる (Shigeru Mizuki) and his wife. It is a love song but it is also "Oh-enka, cheer-up song" for the couple.
