清水 翔太 Shota Shimizu
Released in November 2014, this is his 17th single. This is one of my favorite winter songs. In Japan, we say, "ただいま Tadaima” (I'm back or I'm home) when we comes back from outside. And in return, you will be responded with "おかえり Okaeri" (Welcome back or welcome home). When we hear "おかえり", we would feel relaxed and happy to be home.
This song is about a couple who live in a distant place. We would call it "遠距離恋愛 Enkyori ren-ai", or love despite the long distance. "ただいま” and "おかえり” mean a lot more than just an ordinary exchange for them.
