明日への扉 Asu e no tobira
I WiSH /川嶋 あい Ai Kawashima
Released in February 2003, this is the duo's first single.
Many of you might remember the song as the theme song for "あいのり Ainori", a popular reality show of young people traveling on a pink van.
After I WiSH broke up, the vocal, ai, made a solo debut as Ai Kawashima.
She also wrote different lyrics for this song about school life and graduation and the title is "旅立ちの日に..., tabi-dachi no hi ni...". It might be interesting to compare the lyrics.
Spring, the season of graduation and new beginning, has come and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Tokyo.
