Released in July 1982, this song was one of the songs in the band's 5th album, "NUDE MAN".

 But this song is more famous as the song covered by Naoko Ken.  She released this song in September, 1982.  Her husky voice matches well with melancholic and somewhat sad tune of this song.  This is the perfect song to end the summer.

 I regarded this song as "失恋ソング, song of broken heart" for some reason, but as I translated the lyrics, I found out that this is a song of a couple who failed to enjoy the beach due to bad weather...humm interesting...

 Since this song was written by Keisuke Kuwata, one of the legendary singer-song-writer of Southern All Stars.  He wrote many songs which depicts the scene from his local town, 茅ヶ崎, Chigasaki of Kanagawa prefecture.
In this song, he also wrote about "Pacific Hotel" which was the actual hotel in Chigasaki. (regrettably, it doesn't exist anymore).  江の島, Enoshima is also a famous beach/sightseeing spot in Kanagawa.
