狩りから稲作へ Kari kara Inasaku e
レキシ feat. 足軽先生・東インド貿易会社マン
Rekishi feat. Ashigaru sensei・Higashi-Indo Bouekigaisya-man
Released in March 2011, this song was released as part of the album, "レキツ Rekitsu".
Rekishi is a solo unit by 池田 貴文 Takafumi Ikeda. He once played keyboard in SUPER BUTTER DOG. 足軽先生 Ashigaru sensei, is an alias for いとう せいこう Seikou Itoh who plays rap section. 東インド貿易会社マン Higashi-Indo Bouekigaisya-man is an alias for Grover Yoshikazu.
This lyrics tell you about a shift from Jyomon era to Yayoi era. The song is humorous and fun and you can learn the important historic change in Japanese history. Through reading the lyrics, I could imagine ancient people who lived and loved just like we do now. (smile)
From Wiki:
The Jōmon pottery (縄文土器 Jōmon doki) is a type of ancient earthenware pottery which was made during the Jōmon period in Japan. The term "Jōmon" (縄文) means "rope-patterned" in Japanese, describing the patterns that are pressed into the clay.
The Jōmon Period in Ancient Japan lasted until roughly 300 BCE. It was later followed by the Yayoi pottery.
Yayoi pottery (弥生土器 Yayoi doki) is earthenware pottery produced during the Yayoi period, an Iron Age era in the history of Japan, by an Island which was formerly native to Japan traditionally dated 300 BC to AD 300. The pottery allowed for the identification of the Yayoi period and its primary features such as agriculture and social structure.
Live version feat. Hiromi Uehara (jazz pianist who uses the nickname as Osharekishi)
