木梨 憲武 Noritake Kinashi
Released in October 2019, this song was one of the songs in the first mini-album by Noritake Kinashi. He is a renowned comedian who was really famous with his partner, Takaaki Ishibashi as "とんねるず, Tunnels". They hosted many TV programs in the 80s and 90s. Later Noritake Kinashi showed his other talent as a singer. Although the lyrics are very comical, he actually sings quite well.
This song is about the men in his late 50s and 60s who experienced Japan's hottest so-called "Bubble" period. Even though their body is not as young as they used to be, their spirit hasn't died yet. "GG" sounds like "ジジイ, ji-ji-i", a slung for old man. So he is calling old men to stand up. I admire his challenging spirit and this song will inspire many tired salaried men.
