Mr. サマータイム Mr. Summertime

サーカス Circus

Released in March 1978, this song is the chorus group's 2nd single.  The original song is a French song called "Une Belle Histoire" by Michel Fugain & Le Big Bazar released in 1972.  It became a big hit in Japan and the quartet gained popularity as one of the best chorus groups in Japan.

The four members were relatives.  Older sister(Masako Kano), two younger brothers(Takashi and Ousuke Kano), and their female cousin(Setsuko Uzuki).  After several member changes, they still performs as a quartet Masako, Takashi, his daughter and a new member).

Hot summer is almost over.  This summer was unusual in many ways.  I couldn't enjoy "GO TO" campaign at all, but it was a memorable summer without a doubt...
