瑠璃色の地球 Ruri-iro no chikyu
松田 聖子 Seiko Matsuda
Released in June 1986, this song recorded as one of the songs in her 13th album, "SUPREME". She recorded this song during her pregnancy. That baby was Sayaka, her only daughter who has also become a singer later.
She performed this song in the famous song show, "紅白歌合戦 Kohaku uta-gassen" on TV last year. Her performance caught lots of attention as well as the lyrics that matches well with the situation we are facing now.
"瑠璃色 ruri-iro" is azure blue in English. It is a color of lapis lazuli.
