薬師丸ひろ子 Hiroko Yakushimaru
Released in October 1984, this song was her 4th single. Being a renowned actress, she also sings well. This song was used as a theme song for the movie she starred, "Wの悲劇, W no higeki (W's tragedy)". Her crystal voice makes me feel like I'm floating on a quiet lake.
Because of her debut movie, she had been considered as a "juvenile actress or idol" but with this movie, she was given many awards and had become a Japanese leading actress. She is still one of the top actresses and singers.
