Released in February 1985, this song is her debut single. Being a renowned actress, she also sings well. Her dreamy voice matches well with this song's lyrics.
This song was written by Takashi Matsumoto and composed by Kyohei Tsusumi. The two great writer/composer of 80s. This song is still one of the most popular spring/graduation songs.
I don't know if it is still ongoing but there was a tradition in school that a girl student ask a boy student to give the second button of his school jacket as a token of love. It is a way to confess from a girl to a boy. Why the second button? It is said that because it is the button closer to his heart.
