Released in February 1980, this song his 17th single and one of the most popular songs among many of his masterpieces.  This is a song written for a movie, "翔べイカロスの翼, Tobe Icarus no tsubasa", a story about a young crown of a circus.

Being a legendary folk singer of his time in the 70s, he has been popular over the years.

Started his career as a folk duo, "grape", he later debuted as a solo singer-songwriter.  His beautiful melodies and story-telling lyrics were well known by his own singing but also by other singers such as "秋桜 Cosmos", by Momoe Yamaguchi.
